This framed 12 x 24” is # 11 from my very popular Ice Fishing Series. There are only two paintings left in this series at this size. I am originally from Midland, Ontario on Georgian Bay, where Ice Fishing is a popular winter activity. I would spend hours out on the ice taking photo's of different activities, meeting people and enjoying the wonderful Canadian winter days. It was a little too cold to paint En plein air, so I would print out the images and assemble them on the wall to use as my "model".
